Hi, I’m Mary—founder of IMMY, owner of Mary G Hair, and a passionate, curl-specialist hairdresser with nearly two decades of experience in the industry.
Throughout my career, I’ve been lucky enough to earn recognition as a multi award-winning and critically acclaimed stylist, trusted by clients and peers alike for my attention to detail, dedication to craft, and no-compromise approach to client care.
But behind the chair? There was always one thing I couldn’t escape…

Born Out of Frustration (and a Lot of Dropped Towels)
Whether it was during back-to-back appointments in my salon or working with curly clients mid-wash day, I kept running into the same issue—towels slipping, readjusting, pinning, tucking, repeat.
Not only was it annoying, but it looked unprofessional. And in a salon like mine, where every detail matters, that wasn’t good enough.
So, I created IMMY—the towel I wish had existed my entire career.
